Cargraphic Exhaust / stock ECU = Lean AFR ?

Hi , i've buyed a 2nd hand Cargraphic exhaust CARP96TETS (Export Version) for my TT X50 , i want it expecially for Sound and some Hp gain , so i want just install the Exhaust without ECU reprogram.
For your experience , can this cause a Dangerous lean AFR condition ?
Cargraphic says that the exhaust is fully OBD2 compliant and guarantee 21 Hp gain on stock car , but is the stock ECU able to adapt fuel ignition at new exhaust that produce 50% less backpressure excluding risk of Lean AFR condition ?
I know that ECU reprogram is always good to optimize performances , but i wouldn't like engine damage.
What do you think , any experience ?
Thank you very much.

HI,No problem with that exhaust swap..It will not cause damage, the ECU will compensate for it...I had a Cargraphics on my car originally before I went with all my mods.European Car Magazine did a test on that system and it gained power and was in safe fuel range on the ECU....BUT ....unless it has gutted cats, then it would be a different story IMO .......

Gutted = hollow cats...cells ripped off.

Just for a hint...if you change your exhaust and after change notice lean logged ( from Durametric or similar program ) A/FR's the first thing to check is sealing of exhaust flanges. Even a small leak there will fool lambdasensors and give them a wrong impression of lean mixture, leading to actually overly enrichened mixture.
Pls don't ask how I know...
