Should I Switch Tuners??
Hi Guys,,This thread is not to bash my tuner,
I just need help to figure out how much I should take......I have got another fuel pump installed ,as my current tuner[EPL] said I needed , at Kelly Moss Racing where it was dynoed...My problem is I am in Chicago ,160 miles away,I left my car there to be dynoed and tuned as Tony said he could get more out of it with the extra pump....So,I rented a car to come back home because Kelly Moss said Tony promised to get to it on a certain day last week.
Well,Tony blew them off,as Kelly Moss told me....So,another day was set,,last Thursday.I drove back there again and in the middle of doing dyno pulls Tony logged out and my car did not get tuned again...So as of now still,my car sits on their Dyno waiting for Tony....In the mean time I still have a $40 day rent a car to get me back and forth to Kelly Moss,160 miles away.Today ,Tony tells Kelly Moss that he can not get to my car until next Wednesday???Hmmm,another $40 per day for over another week.......
Yes I understand he may get busy,Yes I understand he has New customers that want their jobs done so they have precedent and he has to cater to them now,,,yes I understand he doesnt return my calls or e-mails now and over the last yr.unless I really bug him,,,,,BUT I do not think this is the right way to be treated after spending good money with someone,,,AND make a commitment to the shop and blow them off,thus me also.....I can say to be fair,that he has been there for some other help.....I know there are two sides,so I am waitng to see if he even responds to this with some excuse again as he did to Kelly Moss......
With other tuners that I have dealt with,even ones that I have spent NO money with,,have talked to me,returned calls and gave me advice with out me begging them for replys??.....lol....OR should I learn a lesson from this and go to a different tuner as I was advised to....Protomotive...Who knows,I may get better numbers also..lol...????As I said in other posts,its the service after the sale that counts......What would you do in this situation...But now EPL/Tony might have a new excuse not to do anything more with me because of this.....We shall see,,,,I will keep you informed.......Thanks....

Tony has been contacted and asked to look at this thread...when he has a response it will be reopened...If you have a complaint about a vendor or another member it is best to contact the staff first to see of we can help rather than try to defame someone on the Internet..
