Hello Guys,,,Tony and I finally 'Talked' on the phone after all this has transpired..Finally we compared our notes like men...We are good now,,,,There was miscommunication with a twist..lol.. from the 3rd party,the shop, to me>> that was apparently said to me BUT those were not Tonys words...Lets leave it as,the shop assumed things and told me it was a fact,so I believed what they said...Tony now knows why I was frustrated.........So,it is water under the bridge .....He is going to tune my car on Friday now.....I am very sorry that I caused any grief.......Sincerely,,John Kownacki......
Glad to see things worked out John. Working with other shops that work with the tuner can sometimes be good but it can also suck. Glad Tony is getting you taken care of. I am sure you are going to really enjoy it when it's all done.
this is exactly why we encourage members to contact staff with these issues to see if we can help with a resolution before causing drama on the board
...but all is well that ends well...props to Tony and John for working it out

I spoke with Tony yesterday about an issue with a shop and he resolved in the same day and now I am on the same page with my local shop as well and will hopefully have my car tuned in the next week...I thought Tony could not have been more helpful...glad your situation is taken care of...

Most Tuners are busy this time of year if they are not then they are not good. So i'm sure Tony was busy but would have gotten back to you.

Didn't bother reading it; just deleted it when I saw it from you. No hard feelings, just expressing my opinion as I did earlier.
John- You should ask the mods to delete the original post if everything is truly OK. (If not, then certainly don't.) I'm not a big fan of censorship, but seeing as how the other thread is now locked, people may never associate it with this thread and realize that everything is good. It wouldn't be cool if someone runs a search at some point and finds EPL getting bashed, and then perpetuates the misunderstanding, if the problem was actually with another shop. I have no vested interest here, but I do plan on having my K24/18G setup done at EPL whenever I decide to go that route. If it goes half as smoothly as my experience with EPL the last time, that's fine with me.
HEY Guys,,Its settled/over...But I can tell you that there is more to it then I metioned above,I bit my tongue to settle this AND I am not 100% at fault,,,,,,I am disappointed that the shop did not intervene before it escalated to that level,, to defend me or even for that matter him, if I was totally wrong or he was totally right...I guess its all about the buck...

I am glad this is resolved and Tony is not in the wrong...I was just on the phone w him recently and he was quite knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I left that call with a good feeling created from a good experience...I was shocked and saddened when I saw your other thread prior to this resolution thread...
John, I wish you would have just quit while you were ahead...your last post is a big disappointment to me as you continue to try and justify your actions in starting this mess in open forum, which resulted in a lot of wasted staff and members time trying to resolve an issue that could have easily been settled and shouldn't have been posted to begin with....since you don't seem willing to let it go...I'm going to do it for you....this damn thread is closed too
Please bring any problems to staff first and give us a chance to resolve the issue...getting us involved often helps us to catch scammers who find a way to steal from members when they are not reported
