ra996tt is infamous around these parts
Yes you do need the rear 02 sensors code taken out of reflash. Tony took care of that for me, very responsive and cool guy to work with The pipes arrived per schedule and Rhonda was very helpful as well. Pipes are good quality and very light. Strapped it on and started her up and I am in love. I love the roar, intoxicating at WOT. If you can handle loud exhausts, I totally recommend this route as it's cheaper than $2k+ exhausts, more performance, and weight savings. Here's a quick WOT pull:

They are dd'able if you have tolerance for loud exhausts. I dd my car but that's cause i'm an audiophile Yes there's drone, but then again even my stock exhaust had drone. Drone is from about 2k-3k rpm.

Just a word of advice to anyone considering an open exhaust...either straight pipes or an x-pipe. Make every effort you can to hear one IN PERSON and go on the freeway to see if you can handle the drone. It is not for everyone. The sound when at WOT when really pushing these cars with a nice free flowing exhaust is truly amazing but it can also be quite punishing on a daily driver when cruising between 2000-3000 rpm.
I learned the hard way that I couldn't live with it. The novelty of setting off every car alarm in the parking garage wears off unfortunately.

+1 had my straight pipes on for an hour (ride home) before I ripped them off and went back to stock. Fortunately I'm in a Speedtech 3.0 with cats now. The straightpipes were really tough and stinky!

agreed, they drone, they are way to loud for a DD,will through cels unless 02 is turned off. Yes they do sound GREAT on track days but mine spend most of their time sitting on the shelf. I run the gen 1 fabspeed 100cel loud, nice reasonable noise.

I might switch to a less droney exhaust once I grow tired of my straight pipes. But that hasn't happened yet, so I keep on enjoying those banshees in tunnels
