Car looks great with the tints. The headlights don't think the color goes with the car. Like they say "to each his own!!" I went back to stock look !! Took off all my tints and swapped out my headlight to stock. My tail lights were also tinted half the lens. Might be interested in selling my headlight painted inside black. Let me know if interested. Beautiful P

 

I absolutely LOVE the blue tint on the front. Rear lights...mmmm not as good as the front.

Where did you get the film? I would like to have yellow ones on my arctic silver TT.

Hi guys... the headlight film is called Laminex and is available in blue, yellow, clear, smoked as well... I went with the blue to give it a unique and technik look as popular in Europe more so than the US...

as for the tails the film used there is a tailight specific film by a company called Llumar, it's made for automotive applications and for external use on tail lights and the sort.

....I was at Katies this moring...BUT did not bring the GT2...I had my M3 Race car there on my trailer hooked upto my rig lol :-) Got back from instructing for BMW/MB/Audi late last night and didn't get a chance to unload in time lol so figured why not take it all over there haha! Should be pics on the Katie's C&C thread...

I like the window film. Headlights Im undecided on yet but I def do not think the rear tails came out good, too dark and just doesnt look like a good job and these arent even upclose pics.

What I would recomend is takeing that film off taking tails to a body shop and have them clear coat them with a very slightly smoked clear coat. That will give you the effect you are looking for while maintaining OEM look and OEM shine. My friend does it at his body shop all the time and lights come out great.

Unlike what seem like the majority of the folks, I really like the headlight tint. At first I was unsure about it ... but it came back to me a few times so I ordered the blue Laminex and am having mine done next week.
My car is Polar Silver and I think the bluish tint will look good ..... if not I have spent a lot more money on a lot more ridiculous things.

 

^^^ awesome...I've kept mine on...it goes nicely with gray, silver and those types of colors I think...it;s definatly unique and cops don't seem to mind it...

I think the headlight/tailight treatments are things that grow on most folks, initially they are different but after a while they can look nice on a car

 

I've always liked headlight treatments.

 

Just picked it up this afternoon. I had them do a 50% ceramic tint and the optic blue Lamin-x on the headlights. Although I am still not 100% convinced on the blue I have already had two people comment about how good it looked, and that was just from the tint shop to my office.
