Db9
I have about 600 miles on mine and love it.
Very civilized ride when you want it with a lot of performance when you need it. I find its as fun to drive as my S2000 and ultimately found it better for my needs than a Porsche.
If is very well balance and can be tossed into a turn with great agility. Throttle is very quick with a lot of torque available down to 1`500 RPM, so you need to feed it slowly coming out of a turn. The car is well enough balanced that you can throttle steer it quite well in a turn.
On paper its #s don’t compete with TT but I find it feels as fast. While just about as agile, it is very stable as speed builds. Driven smoothly the amount of road you can eat up in this thing is astonishing. 70 to 130-150 ranges are up there with the best.
As far as price, I doubt you will find one under MSRP. You can find used for sale at MSRP but not below at this point. Orders were out about 14 months the last time I checked.
Some dealers took low deposits and were happy to refund if you wanted out of the car when it arrived due to demand. It is therefore possible to find a new one at MSRP sitting at a dealer.

these are the #s I've seen, and it is hard to say it is up there with the best at them.
Elasticity DB9 ---vs--- 911Turbo
80 - 160 Km/h 11,3 s / 16,6 s / 22,8 s ---vs--- 7,6 s / 9,2 s / 12,1 s
80 - 180 Km/h 14,2 s / 0 s / - s ---vs--- 9,6 s / 11,7 s / 15,4 s
80 - 200 Km/h - s / - s / - s ---vs--- 12,3 s / 14,6 s / 18,9 s (as seen here, the 80-200 even beats 80-160 on DB9)
My friends had one all day last Saturday.. The drove the snot out of it for hours. They both liked it... They called me to meet up and see how it would do against my Stage IV.... I Needed a laugh...
Knowing how they drive I wouldn't want to be the one that buys this car at the dealer....

I have also been too impressed by numbers in the past. If you want the faster car at a reasonable price, go for a used GT2.
GT3 has good # on the track and would also be great choice if that is what you are looking for. I personally found the torque feel of acceleration very disappointing on the GT3. Speed only comes from the upper end of the rev range.
The DB9 is not just about #s. It can be driven in complete luxury when easy. The ride on a decent road is extremely pleasant, yet will keep pace with the best under real world conditions. Part of the reason for the #s not being as good as others is the gearing and weight. They could have been spaced closer with lower rear end and still achieved the 186 top speed. The car has limiter at that speed, go figure. It will reach the 186# in 5th. It was done this way on purpose to allow a very satisfying pull coming out of the corners. Unwind the steering while squeezing the throttle and you are rewarded with a very pleasant experience. You can slow to 50 in a turn in 4th and pull all the way to 140 without shifting.
The slush box is fantastic and can work just about as good as the best F1s while working like any other auto around town.
While the car feels very light on its feet, it’s actually quite heavy. The DB9R uses same chassis with deferent fenders and suspension arms. Also has manual transmission. It is a full 1400 lbs lighter than the production car.
The only way to understand this car is by driving it in different conditions. It can’t be compared to the traditional GT vs. sports car categories, as it works in both areas.

not for me it's for my mom. this isn't about being fast. It is about being luxurious, but not as ugly as the Bently CGT.
i just got lease numbers though and they are TERRIBLE. 3 year residual is 45%, 4 year is 37%.
3 years with $8900 down is $3800/month!!
i can get an RR Phantom for not much more than that.
