carnut is infamous around these parts
Hey Chad,
Assuming you were to decide to go that route, how much weight do you think you could take off KA?

Cary,
That car looks sick!

CHAD ... DON'T DO IT!!! KA is far to nice of a car to gut! Unless you decided to have it done the Bob Linton way.. then that would be cool and you could lose 100's and 100's of pounds and still have all the creature comforts.....

Getting the FPM in street trim to beat the KA would clearly not be an easy feat, however, I always say nothing is impossible and just gotta say, I love a good challenge. Maybe even a two car shoot out for fun .. no dyno's, no press just a sneaky afternoon at Willow for a couple laps and some fun and a promise that no matter what happen's, we all still stay friends.....
Carey,

If you get some sponsor(s) to pay for the track for a 1/4 to 1/2 day I would love to do a comparison. KA is suppose to be in your neck of the woods for tuning sometime around mid June to mid July.

Besides we gotta stay friends, I need some suspension parts/work from you.

Cary,

KA is as light as I want her to be. No way would I go that route with her. Besides I have one or two gutted vintage racers and they are in the shop/warehouse more than KA.

Mr. Linton, nothing but the best. Not sure I could afford Bob, but he would definitely be worth the wait.

I'd need about 650 pounds to get down to 2,500.

No, the destination is kinda QT. Not a very well known chip tuner. PM me and I'll let you know.

I just got off the phone with Rob. He asked how my last set of turbo's were doing? I wasn't aware we were kin folk.

Carey, you're talking about that white DP car you posted a while back? I'd love to see how that looks on your car.

Chad, love to see your plans for KA.

Does the wide body increase the size of the intake scoops at all? Seems that it might be more beneficial if the size was a little larger than stock to "grab" more air.

Yes, the intakes are larger, stock ones won't fit into those 1/4's
