I was 1 tick high after I changed the oil last time. Just loosened the crankcase nut & let a bit drain out till I was in the middle of the high/low marks.

There is a vent tube that goes from the top of the oil tank to the turbo inlets. If you over fill it could put a few quarts of oil through your turbo compressors and up your intercoolers and possibly cause a hydrolock in the cylinders.
