The Mclaren F1 was tested 0 to 100 MPH in like 7.7 seconds while the Enzo was tested at 6.6. Nothing stock so far is faster to 100 mph than the Enzo. We will have to wait and see what the Veryon can do.
porsche lists the enzo at 9.6 for 0 - 124 mph and the cgt at 9.9. we'll see when the CGT is tested by the magazines if porsche's number turn out to be as typically conservative.

I remember seeing that exact same 6.6 quoted for the McLaren F1 0-100 MPH as well. The Euro tests seemed to generate better numbers for the F1 than the tests of converted US cars.
On paper the Carrera GT is not supposed to keep up with the Enzo but some of the people involved with its development have been leaking that is actually a bit quicker than the Enzo.
The Bugatti you mentioned will probably be quicker than all else by a fair margin.

yeah, using weight (the cgt is only 15kg heavier than the enzo - BUT i don't know if that's without the no cost option A/C and stereo in the cgt) and hp numbers the enzo would seem slightly faster "on paper". but there are just a ton of little things the cgt did to make it up (ie: MUCH lighter and smaller clutch - 169 mm diameter for the cgt vs. 215 for the enzo) for lower center of gravity, etc). i believe the wheels are also lighter (forged magnesium for the cgt vs. forged aluminum for the enzo) on the cgt. it's not just about weight, but whether it's sprung or unsprung, where in the car it's placed, etc. the wheelbase is bigger on the cgt. i read a few other things that suggested that the cgt has some other similar tricks up it's sleeve with regards to the "on paper" comparisons.

Plus, Porsche is normally so conservative with performance (and possibly hp) claims. One of the famous Porsche drivers told an auto magazine rep something to the effect of "It's quicker than the Enzo but I'm not supposed to tell you that."
It will be interesting to see how the Porsche supercar goes up in value and sustains or fails to sustain any increases in value.

Are we now talking about the Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron that cost over $1 million, with a W16, quad turbo, 8.0L, and wil put out 1001HP & 922 lb.-ft. of torque , with claimed top speed of over 250mph??? How can we compare anything to that???

don't worry we won't have to, what tires exist for those kinds of speed on a 2 ton porker like the bugatti? it's gonna be computer limited like the SL55 because they put too much motor in the car and cheesed out on the weight saving measures (despite there being plenty of carbon fibre in it) necessary to use that power. besides being uglier than schit, and heavier than a house, that car is a riduclously priced joke.
