I don't know if anyone makes pretensioners (helper springs) unless it's part of a complete coil over set up. Attached is the front of a Bilstein pss10 at full drop. The smaller lower helper spring keeps the entire spring assembly in the perches. I had a similar problem with the rear Koni's on my 993. At full drop the spring would not be set in the perch at the top. I sent the shocks to koni and they added a larger internal bumpstop to shorten the shock shaft travel and keep the spring in the perch at full drop. I'd check with Bilstein who also makes the shocks for the H&R coil overs. They might be able to get you a front set of shock modified to hold the spring in place at full drop.

You can buy helper springs from Swift, among others.

thanks, but shouldn't this just work the way they sell the setup, i talked to h&r today and they say when they sell you a set of springs, that is all you get and it should just go in where the original springs were and the rest is porsche parts from original setup, and it seems i am missing one of the 3 large washer-type thingys that are at the top of the assembly, i'll get it figgered out, won't get TUV without fixing it, so...
