How to mount Braille D3121, battery?
DONT MOUNT IT! I pulled mine out after a week of headaches! if you have the car sitting longer then 7-8 hours you need to put a maintainer on it unless you have a kill switch, just the alam would drain it.
I checked the CCA of Odyssey 925 vs. Braille 3121 and Braille was notably higher
Many have said the Odyssey, or Braille are fine for about a week??
I have the 9lb version Carbon and it would not crank over after sitting outside my office after i parked it at 8:30 and left at 4pm
You will probably have to fabricate a battery holder - lexan works well. Trace the base of your OEM battery and cut out the base piece, then drill two holes at the left and right ends of the battery. Take two long machine screws of the required length and recess the heads in the bottom of the plate and face them upward. Cut a hold down strap out of lexan for the top, drill it to match the machine screws and bolt it down with wing nuts. I did this for my odyessy 925 and it works great.
The 925 will hold for about 1 week without a charge - after a week, it's dead. It weighs 25 Lbs. - I think it's a good compromise of all factors...
