I use electronic parts cleaner, which I purchased from Home

Depot. You can also use Alcohol, but it needs to be real pure, as close to 100% as possible, like 95% +, you should be able to find it at any good drug store.

Again, I've used both, the spray is what I've been using for the past 5 years, I just spray off the MAF element real good a few times, it drys quickly, then put it back. You will need security torx to remove the MAF, you should be able to find them at a good auto parts store or Sears possibly.

If using Alchohol, soak your MAF in the solution in a zip lock bag for about 5 minutes, let it dry then re-install.

I would look at your filter and assess whether or not it's dirty, if you decide to clean the filter, you will need to soak it in warm water, let dry (air compressor can speed this up), then you need to properly re-oil it, LIGHT coat of oil, otherwise you WILL have MAF issues

Good luck.

Why do people run oiled air filters? They are PROVEN to be worse than paper...especially in dry, dusty environments.

Buy a durametric, in the long run it will pay for itself.

Cleaned the MAF and problem still persists. Guess next step is new MAF, should I order one from Pelican?

Does it run

the same if you disconnect the MAF connector ? It may not be your MAF, I would try this first.
