alignment specs?

I wanted to know what is the best alignment and ride height for my car. 2001 911 turbo. I just added some coilovers and wanted to know if anyone knows the optimal settings for a street driven and light track duty car. I was thinking of doing a gt2 alignment but I am awd so not sure if that would work.

Thank you in advance.

Vince

Any alignment is a compromise between optimal cornering, optimal braking,
optimal acceleration, optimal tire wear, and optimal stability/responsiveness.
For your stated purposes, the GT2 alignment is a fine place to start. Then,
if you have any complaints after a few weeks of experience with it, tell us
specifically and there may be some fine-tuning to do...

I just did a modified GT2 alignment. Minimum toe. No need for any suspension mods (ie no new dogbones, etc. Just coilovers w/ camber plates)

Admittedly I kept it on the upper end of the GT2 height range, given the need to drive on local roads, etc

If you need numbers I can look them up....

There is a setting for X-73 alignment as well. This is like the GT-2 set-up but for an AWD car although almost the same. The ride height will work and look fine. Some people find it low and go a bit higher.
I noticed you've got some HP going on there, you would like this:

- First I recommend tow links. They help keep things in line and tight in the rear while reducing tire wear due to tow changes under acceleration/off thrittle.

Front:
- Toe - 0.0 to 0.5 toe in
- Camber - max it out. This will be around -1.1 to -1.4. Won't really effect your front wear as these cars chew rear tires anyhow and helps with understeer. It' not enough to cause heavy tracking. It will be "red" on the machine but is OK.

Rear:
- Tow - -25 tow in. This is again bordering "red" but the more power you have, the more squat you get and that brings tow out which is like rear steering and eats up tires while sucking for control.
- Camber - Minimum. This will be around -1.4 to -1.6 because the car is lowered and you don't have much choice. But if you keep it in that range it works great.

This set up will give you the most stability and fun while being daily usable and trackable. You may also notice you can add spacers and widen your track/look.

My specs:
Front Toe 1/32 left and right or 0.03
Front camber -1.8 degree left and right
Front height 127mm (L&R)
Front caster (degrees) 8.0 L; 7.9 R

Rear toe 1/16 left and right (0.06)
Rear camber -1.8
Rear height L 139mm; R=139.5mm

Corner balance (with 180lb in driver seat) LF, RF, LR, RR: 725, 687, 1133, 1085 lbs.

FYI, you add on diagonals so 725+1085=1810 and 687+1133=1820... so the car is within 10 lbs of 'balanced'

for reference, from my research:

GT2 Heights are
118-123mm front
133-138mm Rear

TT heights are
148-168mm front
153-173mm rear
