98w or 102w?
98w or 102w?
Asked in the wheel section but it doesn't get too much attention so here it is.
I want to buy some Bridgestone RE-11 in 305/30/19 and on the website i want to buy them there are two types and the only difference is for i beleive the weight rating? One is 98w and the other is 102w, being 60$ each more...?
What should i pick? What do these numbers mean?
thanks

These are the weight ranges for the tires. I think the higher the number the more weight the tire can handle. This generally means the sidewall is stiffer and may also be a quicker turn-in tire as well due to the sidewall being stiffer.
