New member with few questions

Hello everyone !

I just bought my first P-car, a 996 tt 02' 6g manual

and i would like ask You about this part on the picture:

I have no idea where i should connect it...

I need to change engine so I bought engine which was connected with automatic gearbox. I have manual....
is anybody know is there are any differences in engine and it equipment between manual / automatic ?

It appears to go back to the power steering pump for the clutch slave. I would assume an automatic would not have the plumbing for that since there is no clutch...
