I am thinking of painting my rims to match body color. Have you done any painting job for your rims in Seattle area? Any recommendation for vendor who can do nice paint job for rims?

I got recommendation to go to Doug @ Wheel works in Kirkland. If you have done rims paint job with them, please provide some comments. He provided estimates of $1100 to paint set of 4 rims. Is that too much or good deal?

I don't plan to do powder coating because of the heat treatment may weaken the metals on rims, so I am looking for recommendation for straight up good paint job for rims. Thanks!

 

Whoa.. I had my Range Rover wheels powerdcoated black for $400 bucks. I think w/ 18s or less, you'll be around $300. PM me.. I'll give you his info.

Sorry, it was just a general suggestion when I saw you looking for input in the Seattle metro area. I figured you might get some more targeted feedback. I did have one wheel repaired/painted up in the Lynnwood area and believe the name of the company was Cascade Wheel. I have misplaced their contact information at this time though, so I'm not too much help there.
