I run the Rotella T6 in my beater that calls for 5w30, changed it at 3000 miles the first time using it and could have put it back in, didn't seem burnt at all like the other oils I have used in it.
As for usage in a Porsche Turbo, we run Mobil 1 as recommended.

hahaha Hi Neil... yup ... can't remmeber everything off hand but for starters...got a Dunrite triple disc T/C, modded valve body, T/C controller, smarty tuner/programmer with 9 flashes, AFE big intake, MBRP stainless full turbo back 5", full isspro gauges inc. pyro EGT/boost/trans temp/fuel pressure, FASS fuel delivery, Mag Hytec deep pans on trans/diff/engine, synthetic fluids, fluidampr, F1 injectors or DDP (was gonna be my next mod before I stopped modding) ....she's a great truck...pulls hard and tows strong...plus I like the sound of the 24V CTD in the 12V and Vp44 trucks prior to the newest emissions controlled common rail Cummins.Originally Posted by Neil Switzer

Amen brother, you should run that smarty on a timing only map along side the TST fuel box, seems to be a popular stack.Originally Posted by sunir

My brother has a 2000 5spd that now has 375K+ miles on it, stock turbo, edge comp drag, RV 275hp inj, Valair single disc clutch, stock turbo based setup, probably puts down mid 300's to the wheels. (LOL!) He runs Rotella 15w40 religiously.
Anyways, back to the discussion.. .
