45k miles, x50, 49k.
My main concern is that the current owner hasnt serviced it in 2 years, although he's only put 5k miles on it.
Any suggestions?

I guess 49k with a tippy and 45k miles isn't too bad a price then.
This is the way I looked at it:
(generalizing prices)
-White (5% markup)
-Coilovers - $2000
-Headers - $1500
-Exhaust - $2500
-SSK - $300
-H&R Sways - $400
-Spark Plugs done 5k before I bought it
-60k maintenance covered by previous owner
-Warranty - ???
I would have spent at least $6000-8000 to get the car to the same point, in stock form it would have sold around $43 to 45k fairly easily.
Thanks to the warranty, my DV's are getting replaced with the newer revision that bosch makes.
Tippy wasn't an option for me, I have tracked the car. Depends on how you like to drive, I prefer a manual 95% of the time. The 5% is that stop and go traffic that I deal with on occasion.
If the car has a well cared for history.
I would say $42-44k is a good deal for that car and probably will track it some more (road race / hpde). If you're in the 50k range, you can find others with a couple of mods (exhaust is pricey), and suspension upgrades are always nice

So far I'm thinking of taking it to Car Techniks, they apparently specialize in German cars and are fairly close.
I think the Speed Yellow color is awesome on the Turbo's. From the pics, the paint job looks very nice and the car's condition looks pristine. I'd deduct about 3 grand off the rip for him putting those shallow 15" looking wheels on there. Is the seller offering the original wheels?
I agree with DHahlen... no more than $44k.

Also, the guy said that he's going to trade it in for a panamera and the dealer offered him 45k, which makes it harder to negotiate. He could be bluffing, but it makes it tricky to offer less then what he'd get from them + trade-in tax benefit.
If it comes with complete records that is good- but re-reading his ad, it just says 'dealer serviced' but nothing about records....
If you want yellow and a tippy, you could look a LONG time and not find that clean a car... so what if it is a few k over the proverbial "the husband ran off with the secretary and sent the wife an email saying 'sell the car-send me the money' deal'
I suspect he is padding the trade number. Maybe signaling $45k is his number?
You could probably post a thread asking for the best place for a PPI. Dealers are low on my list for PPIs as they generally do little and overlook a lot- hence the need for a 'law' holding them responsible.
Finally that radar detector isn't state of the art- yes, crazy expensive- but not the best performance...just fyi.

Ya man, have it checked out, if it PPIs ok, drives ok, and you can get them to knock off a few bucks, snag it up. Or modify your requirements list and go for a slightly modded car for just a few bucks more. Good luck,

As far as the service it looks like he serviced it 2 years ago at 40,000 miles. Ideally he should have changed the oil once per year. You will need to change the oil and flush the brakes at the very least. Maybe a battery since he drove it minimally during the 2 years.
As long as PPI is good, I would get the car.
Nizzki, he's been trying to sell that car for what seems like a year (not literally, but a long, long time). I think his price expectations have made it difficult for him to move it. The fact that he is advertising the X50 at its full MSRP suggests he thinks it is worth more than it really is over a stock TT. But, perhaps he is getting closer to tipping point. I know it was on the market long before I bought my Tip in early summer.
