OZ Superleggera III leaking air

I love these wheels but I have two tires that are now leaking air and the cause seems to be where the 3 piece design joins up. Does OZ stand behind something like this or can they be repaired?

Did the installer use the proper sealant (and amount) when they were installed?

They have been on the car for several years.

Buddy, if it's an SLIII chances are we built it here. We use a very high quality silicone between the halves and then they are bolted together. The "squish out" is smoothed out as a bead around the wheel. It sits for 24 hours to cure before a tire is put on. If you have a leak now after several years, most of the time it's either from burnout torque twisting the halves and breaking the seal, or from a tire tech that hits the bead while dismounting a tire. But, it could just be an old silicone seal, too....

To diagnose, here's what you do:

Take it off and fill the tire to 50-55 lbs.

Dunk it. Look for air leaks. If from around the bead, check for a tire that isn't beaded well. If from around an assembly bolts you have a bead breach inside the wheel. Mark the bolt that's leaking.

Take the tire off the rim and cut out the bad area of the bead with a razor blade in a "v" shaped channel inside. Go about 2" on each side of the bad area. Do not jam the blade between down between the halves.

Buy a tube of 100% silicone sealant and reapply the bead inside taking care to fill any area that could be leaking. A small nylon body filler smoother will help.

WAIT 24 HOURS to put the tire back on and refill.

Hope it works.

This is the cheap way. If the wheel needs to be taken apart and fixed I can do it for you.
