GTR is definitely on my list of cars for my daily... if all goes well I maybe in one sooner than I expected...

It seems like you and I have this conversation every 6months.. LOL I should just bite the bullet. The solution you have is probably going to net me the most gains at a price that won't be beyond my minds budget... Call ya later bro!

How much boost can you run on a GT setup with stock internals? How much WHP does it amount to?

For sure brotha! Would love to check out your GTR sometime...
no problem brother, listen your not to far from me , if you wanna take a drive over i will let you drive my car , i have a 55 gal drum of race gas in my garage, we will fill her up and you can take it out and stomp on things so you can see for your self .

to anser you question that you asked jitsu. depends on the tune, some tuners run higher boost with less timing and other more timing and less boost like proto , on race gas you run run up to 1.8 bars , its torque that bends rods though, not so much the boost .

I run 1.2 on pump (93) and make low 600's, maybe 625 or so on pump.

I have not dynoed it since my last round of mods, but Akram who installed them and has lots of experience (although we had a falling out) thinks she is pretty close to 800 on C16 at 1.6-1.7. Todd K. thinks she is ok AT 1.6-1.7 as long as I run C16.

I pretty much only run pump unless I know there will be a money race and I have pretty much retired from that as per my agreement w/ the Sugar Land Police. I pretty much run only pump and am still thrilled every time I drive the car. She is bullet-proof reliable.

Geeze, this sounds sorta familiar. I bought my car with a flash and I later found out a sucky one at that. I then became friends with Markski and went the 18g route. The car was fast, really fast but I decided to upgrade to Mark's 800/850 hybrid GT30 setup. I can't speak for you but I'm happy that I went bigger. My car goes to plaid (Spaceballs reference there) in a few seconds now. Good luck with your decision.

+1

Do you ever run race gas? I don't ususally, but it's an easy 30-50HP with just timing changes and more boost for when you're feeling frisky. Helps if you have injectors.

Adrian did it... he listened to me... first day out at the road race track he came #1...
now that was worth it...

How is it running since the install? Was everything done properly the first time it was installed? What did he base the 'thinks she is close to 800' on?

Sorry to bring up an old thread...I created a new one, but was told to search on here and find the other threads about Motorwerks to use instead of the new one I made!
