Bad paint job!

We need to send some Germans to Italy....those guys have no idea how to paint a car.

Italian paint is pretty much equal to German, I think most german paint now has terrible orange peel due to water based products, because of stricter rules. That Enzo is an example of how new cars should be all deliverd to dealers. Not just hood and trunk everything should be wrapped in plastic, and not unwrapped until the customer picks the car up, I dont want there expert (joke) detailers washing it with a metal brush.

My 2005 BMW E60 was swirled to hell I mean deep surface scratchs. I detailed it to perfection recently, but if I wasn't so fluent with detailing I would have had to pay $350-400 to get it properly detailed. The dealer (motorwerks of barrington) used automatic wash's on 50k-350k automobiles, which is very sad.

I don't have a M5 hehe, 2005 E60 could be; 525i, 530i, 545i, and M5. I have a 2005 525i, I am on the list for the M5 though.

After the detail (if you care to see an ordinary 525i) :

FerrariSlave: Motorwerks is brutal cleaning their cars. When I got my tt and E55, I told them to let me see it come off the delivery truck. Then, I had them do the minimal delivery prep while I watched.

Every time I go in know I have window signs for No Washing, and a dash sign that says no test driving.

Hehe, same thing I do with my Jeep, when it goes to the dealer. I put sticky notes all over the interior saying, do not wash please or test drive without my consent. I’m very **** about keeping my cars clean and absolutely flawless (paint wise). I put in alot of work to keep them that way, and I believe the dealer should respect that. Motorwerks just trash's their finish's the Maybach and SLR they had in the showroom, even had swirls.

When you bought your TT and E55, did they attempt to try to sell you the $600 exterior and interior sealants? What a rip off I tell you, the same type of polymer or acrylic sealants can be bought online for much less.

It took me a good 5-6 hours to get the 525i perfect, had to Compound with rotary and Menzerna Power gloss followed by Intensive and Finial polish. Then I sealed the paint with 2 coats of 4 Star ultimate paint protection (*UPP). The interior was left a mess also, under the carpet floor mats there where scuffs and dirt from test drives. I vacuumed and shampooed and extracted the carpets.

HAHA my S4 was delivered with this weird zip-up cloth cover all over the car. Its basically a car cover with zippers so you can get in the doors, and it is still shipped enclosed. Pretty cool if you ask me.

(all audis are shipped this way I think.)
