Great doing business with Arling at Lucent

Folks, I cannot say enough good things about Arling with Lucent Motors. He was the go between Clarence Chan(another great guy!) and I on the purchase of Arling's former 996TT which Clarence bought from him.

It is tough doing business with people you have never met but this board put me at ease about dealing with Arling. He looked the car over and gave it a thumbs up so I bought it. Clarence took the car there and Arling kept it and arranged transport to New Albany, MS with Horseless Carriage. He went WAY beyond the call of duty. He also got the car flashed to GIAC stage II while it was there. He is easy to talk to and will do almost anything to make you happy. I kept thinking "who is this guy?". All I can say is that he is honest, upfront, and very service-oriented. It has been an honor and a pleasure to do business with him.

Needles to say, I will do business with Arling anytime, anyplace.

Yup. Arling runs a very good business. He deserves to receive as much business as we can give him. I do not trust anyone else with my car. He will never screw you and he is most honest in his opinions on what works and what doesn't.

Personally, it's time for me to order those HRE's...Arling, I'm ready man! Time to pull the trigger. Make it happen, baby! I'm dead serious!

The following are my comments:

20c4s---Lucent is a place of business and we all need to make a buck for a living. While making that buck, Arling puts his heart to it because he has respect for his customer's $. Of course, his passion about cars is a bonus here.

Jmmitias---A real power-buyer. He called me at 7pm and spoke with me about the car, I then took the car down to Arling's shop for inspection(same night). Arling gave Doc(Jmmitias) an OKAY, Doc had his BANKER to call me 14 hrs after that. $ in my account on the next day.

Doc, time for some HRE 8 serious that I've been telling you about.

Arling, I miss the turbo but the E55 is doing the job....baby-carrier.

I always wondered how does the driver get out of the car when it's in the carrier? Do they climb out the window? There is no room to open the door?
