I don't want to sound controversial or argumentative but for discussion purposes, I wouldn't say is close to stock.

I ask to be corrected please ....so

Its got a hybrid turbo, uprated injectors, not just a 5 bar fpr, its also got the 911 tuning inlet pipe. that's actually quite a high up mod that's not easy or cheep to do.

It hasn't got: uprated IC's and exhaust.

I'm interested in this because I too am having the 911 tuning inlet piping, hybrid K16/39 turbos ( not billet), 911 tuning iC's uprated injectors, and a bespoke tune. Were hoping the turbos will flow 39lbs air which is almost the same as K24/18g. So it is going to be heavily modded and fingers crossed will be putting out near 680/700 bhp flywheel or about 550 atw . its an mKB tip car). But the point is, its not that far off the OP's car if he did just a few more mods. ( IC's for eg)

My previous tune was a Revo Teknics stage 2 and exhaust. That was near 520 crank bhp. now that's what I would call near stock

I agree with Sunnyside.. if a car has injectors and the intake from the turbos to the airbox that alone is good for 650 whp as long as you have a decent exhaust and turbos that will flow it.. change that exhaust and that car should wake up bigtime...

true - its not close to stock if it has fueling and hybrid turbos. turbo inlet pipes will add nothing at that power level. when i was at 500rwhp level on K24s and added 2.5" inlet pipes - they added maybe 5whp and no difference in spool.

The car actually made I believe 496 at the wheels but I believe that Tony thought this would be a better street tune.

Tony did the math and at 480awhp divided by .78 (.22 percent drivetrain loss) we would get roughly 615 crank horsepower. That's pretty good considering I don't have an exhaust. I think Markski's right. It should be roughly 650 horsepower once I add an exhaust.

I went with the turbo inlet piping because the motor was out for the welded coolant fittings. I figured while we had the motor dropped, might as well do the stuff that would be a PITA to do with the motor in.

I think you made a good call with the inlet piping whilst the engine was out

yep those are cool little hybrids. Back in the day I had (i still have them sitting at shop) 16/16g from tony and made 509rwhp at 1.2bar with just tubi exhaust and 5bar fpr and plenum. At the the time it felt like a "totally" different car compared to just a tune.

P.S make sure you get the right exhaust the first time even if you dont plan to upgrade turbos again...casue things change

disagree, they made a large improvement in my set-up. Both in max power as well as spool.

STOCK EXHAUST (for now)
911 Tuning Turbo Inlet Pipes
Billet K16's
72lb Injectors

Made 480hp & 566 tq.

Had gone up to 496 but brought it down back to 480hp.

Awesome tuning results! Ran my friends GT500 last night (in Mexico) and walked him in third gear.
Nice talking to you @ RPM few weeks ago. I'm glad you're happy with the EPL power. Told ya so! Enjoy it.

depends on what turbos and what boost...

Man, looks like you got every mod BUT the exhaust. Why did you do it this way, exhaust last?

When I added EVO hard inlet pipes I did not feel a seat of the pants difference with the K24/18gs on and I was 1.25 bars then but I had a restrictive 200 cell Cargraphics exhaust system then also....

Um, yeah - it would have to. You couldn't bolt-up all that hardware and expect it to run right anywhere (idle, part-throttle, WOT) without a tune to match. Dash would probably light up like a Christmas tree and then go into limp mode with the stock programming (just a guess).

Plus, the OP pretty clearly mentions that he did the AMS/EPL billet K16 package with the injectors and custom dyno tune (one of two flavors). So the dyno graph we're seeing, and comments about "Tony did this, then that" - I'd guess it "has a flash."
