Nothing much... just debating whether to keep it or sell it. Leaning towards the latter. Just seem to have outgrew the car, going stupid fast isnt much of a priority anymore. I bought an M5 as a dd at that seems just fine at the moment. Stupid slow but it sure does sound nice. If you have to be slow at least you can sound good doing it...

 

AAA keep it!! Its something i always say to. But then what? I will regret it. Btw, if you feel like driving 3 hours we are renting the track here first week of October. I have some grudge racing set up already.

 

Sooooo true. Love the V10 sound of the R8. Not fast but so far a great DD.

 

yup. i dont know if its the same for everyone but perosnally my car only feels actually fast to to me for maybe 1-2 weeks after a round of mods and then its just the same old and back to the drawing board.

its funny that Corey bumped this thread, i actually emailed Kevin the day before to see what he was up to and how the car was doing.

 

i agree, but you daily drive you your car? if dont drive it say like for about a week or more and you get in it and stomp it, it feels fast again.

 

When your right you right...BTW we have a score to settle, like Apollo and Rocky ...can't retire the car just yet! He should Bring it to Texas...I'm sure we can do something. Kevin, let me know if you need a good transporter...

 

Tom, I will live vicariously through you and Joe. Unfortunately passions change, now that my sons are older we are shooting sporting clays competitively together and it has been a world of fun. My wife still says I am spending just as money as I was on the Porsche. I she ever finds the receipt for my German shotgun I am toast! I have the M5 in the interim and we will see what happens down the road, but fo now it is just time to close one chapter and open another. I kept the car for near 8 years and until this point I never kept a damn thing for more than two years, so it was a nice run. You just know you are getting old when your car is too loud.... I will be out there watching you and Joe in TX if I can find the time...

 

What a fantastic car for someone. I've seen it in person and it's on the same level as Joe's in terms of cleanliness

In headed for GT3 land hopefully. HP is fun but I'm ready for a GT3 with Sharkwerks Muffler delete.

 

Why TURBO guys retire on GT3 land if F1 is going with turbo engines ,what means turbo cars are going to grow technically very much.
