That's Good News to me .....

 

I live in South Florida, and yes there are a ton of Porsches. I would say though that I do not see many turbo's (thats what I have) GT2's or GT3's. The general population down here does not know the differences in the different models and tend to lump them all together. They also think the Boxter is a piece of crap (which I think is a great fun driving car), because it is cheaper than the other models. Yeah it is pretty fake down here, but if you can find some "real" people, it is a great place to live.

 

Living down here for a month I have found that Miami is definetaly a car driven culture. (lots of Porsches and Ferrari's) And judging by the amount of C4 Cabriolets I see in a warm weather climate I have to agree that it is all about checking off the most option boxes rather than actual Performance minded enthusiasm as seems to be the case in SOCAL..
