My New Toyota EVO GT800/750

Hey no kidding... is it a Supra? No... Is it a Prius? Nope it's just my 996TT commuting home down the highway at 81mph getting 32 miles per gallon. Sheeeat, now that is impressive. Nevermind 10s or any horsepower that beats any of my other cars I've ever had and none of which had more than half as much HP. I must be seeing things but I'll take a pic if you don't believe me.

Tell me this folks, what other car could you drive 180 miles to a drag strip, run once get booted for being too fast on the shake down pass (aka trial first run) and on the same day drive home with over 30mpg in?

PS Todd it must be your new intake:P The fuel economy saver special....

I get 36mpg around town...

but that's just because I haven't adjusted fuel consumption in the computer for the bigger injectors . Glad to see you enjoying that beast! Give me a ride sometime .

Hey anytime pal Just swing by...

That's pretty darn good man. However putting it in context. Any other 800HP car I know of does not get that kinda mileage lol... Vipers? Nope. Supras? Nope. I could go on...

I figure after complaining about MAFs I should say something positive about these cars we love so much....

LOL thanks man... I'm married to that poor car. I should have divorced her several times by now for a GT2 but it's a keeper now.

I know the feeling.

The bad news is any money I save on gas with the Porsche will be eaten up by the Viper when it gets done. Any guesses what gas mileage a 522cid TT viper would get??

oh sorry you meant on the highway? .129873546764354 mpg

Just think of gas as reverse boost.

I think we're gonna have to start talking in gpm, not mpg

I get 25 mpg on the highway, but about 9 mpg around town. I have a heavy foot. lol (the 60 lb/hr injectors don't help either)

Alex,

I see you didn't learn a thing when you were with me at Infineron a couple of years ago. Where did you get kicked out?
