Question H&R Sport Springs and Sways

Question,

I installed a set of H&R Sport springs with Bilstein Sport shocks, as well as, H&R Sway Bars on my 996 TT.

In turning from lock to lock and when weighting and unweighting the front end, it makes light to moderate clunking noises that you can feel at the wheel.

I spoke to a tech rep at H&R and he said that during the installation because the springs are not flat that they are sensitive to alignment (?) with the strut cap and that the strut cap may not be aligned with the strut. He said there have been only a few issues sounding like mine and that it is always installation related. He said the spring/shock/sway combo is a bulletproof combo and should work without any issue what so ever.

My Installer (astute technical and racing background) said that the springs are known to make that noise and I'm SOOL but it's not hurting anything. I had ROW springs on it last and there were no issues with those springs or the shocks. Don't think the sways are an issue.... I don't think the noises could be considered "normal".

OMT, Any feedback on sway bar settings? I am at full soft with moderate understeer I'd like to resolve. H&R said increase to middle/stiff setting in rear only.

Any thoughts or feedback from someone with similar set up or experience?

Thanks in advance,

FBS

is he getting new drop links that are longer and then re-aligning the car? does that put everything just a little farther apart?

I have Terret links in the rear....
Have heard that the fronts are ok.
If that would fix it, I would drop them in ASAP.
H&R said I shouldn't need them....

What to do, what to do....

Thanks,
