The car shifts better, and definitely is more solid feeling when you take corners. No additional engine noise at idle or any other time, and I have a 964 RS flywheel and upgraded clutch.
Would you mind sharing the PN please? Thanks.

Looks like I spoke too soon, Pelican shows 9 left in stock. At $10.00 a pop though, it's too rich for my blood still. The Ace grade 8 are nearly identical and work great.

So the RS mounts 964-375-043-81 come with the gold washers and not the heavy duty silver 999-025-074-01? From the tech bulletin, the mounts come with washers 999-025-091-02 (those are the gold ones)? I guess I would also ask what specifically comes with the mount 964-375-043-81?
Thank you!

No other parts come with the mounts. Everything else has to be ordered separately.

But, if you order the mounts from Luke at Sunset he will assemble all the parts needed for you.

I use the wevo motor mounts and had no issues at all with them.

I just installed these new motor mounts. One thing I noticed is that the pentosin that leaked out of my wing rams appears to have contributed to the demise of the old driver side motor mount. It was squishy and soft inside, totally shot. The passenger side mount appeared to be in okay shape. Something to consider when dealing with leaky rams.

Excellent write up, Scott. I just did this 'upgrade'. I bought the set of 2 Uro RS mounts from Rock Auto for $80 plus shipping. I bought new 1/2" x 20tpi x 5" grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers at my local hardware store for around $10+-. I found the 4 cup washers on Ebay for $25. Everything installed just fine and the bolts even left me room to add a thin lock nut (jam nut) up against the grade 8 nut just for insurance. So, while my hardware isn't metric, the 1/2" bolts are even slightly larger than the M12 bolts that Porsche used. I am confident that this is a solid installation. Are the Uro RS mounts as good as the Porsche mounts? Time will tell! But for the price, I'm happy to roll the dice. No noticeable added noise or vibration to my 997. Thank you for this write up, Scott.

I just put in these mounts during my big winter maintenance (see my other post), it was actually one of the easiest things tackled on my 'to do' list, the fact that I had a clean engine bay may have helped (see picture ). Bought the kit from Carnewall (Belgium), no messing around trying to assemble something. Very affordable, being Belgian myself I still have the Euro account for my European purchases

Looks like my mech DID install the 2 small gold washers that Scott said should not be. I wonder if that can create a problem? Anyone?

The two small washers you have in your picture above are not adequate and will deform over time. See post #29 above. This is the reason you need the two thick hardened steel OEM washers which must be used with these mounts. There is a reason why the OEM washers are hardened thick steel. This is not a place you will come out ahead by using a thin aftermarket washer instead of the OEM one.
