Hooked on driving, anyone?

Today I received my early birthday present from my girlfriend, a track day with hooked on driving !!!
I've been looking into going to a track day for probably two years now and never decided/had time to go, but now I have one scheduled.

I read almost everything on their site and watched the video on youtube from them.

Did anyone here ever went to a track day by them? Was it good? Mine is in Homestead speedway if anyone ever drove there.

Even though I will be in the beginners category I'm still a little nervous to go with my P, I don't think isurance covers you on a track even though it's not a race... I have Statefarm does anybody know?
On HOD site it says your policy MIGHT cover you because this is not a racing event, but then again they say many insurance companies added an exemption to any "event hosted at a racing facility".

Would be nice to hear any comment about HOD and driving in homestead!
