Coding out fixed wing error code (questions about searched content)

main thread in question https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ror-codes.html

this is what im referring to :

couple questions
1. Since this is pulled from the "Aerokit Installation", does that mean i need the aerokit harness for the 996tt?

2. If that does NOT mean i need the harness, can anyone CONFIRM that this has worked? That thread ended up kinda going off track, so no one ever said they actually had a tech do it.

thanx. work is slow tonight....

You can use the gt2 harness (same as aero) for the deck lid. It just plugs in and no error code should come up, this is for fixed wings though. I remember a pin out that was posted that shows what to jump to bypass buy the harness.

ive priced out the harness, and am prepared to go that route. but if there is a proper DIY or a code-out procedure that can be done with a fixed wing, id rather do that.
