Porsche PIWIS durametric Cable

Anyone have knowledge of the Porsche PIWIS durametric Cable?

Is this cable like the original durametric diagnostic tool?

Thanks,

Sounds like cheap chinese copy from evilbay. Which will not work.
PIWIS and Durametric are two completely different things. Just buy yourself a genuine Durametric from them directly, or from FVD.

There are many running the chinese cable, and it works fine. There are a couple of threads that talk about this subject. apparently, they ship an old version of the program.

I have tried the copy cable with an older version of the software. It worked to log and reset codes/cel, but not much else. My buddy paid $20 for it, so it seems fair for what it does, but remember its a copy with outdated software.

Where can I get one of those for $20? I only need it to read/clear cels and that price is cheaper than an obdII scanner tool...
