in talking to some about tuning my A28s, the subject of an boost controller came up. so it got me curious as to where you guys have mounted them in the 996? i remember seeing a couple pics of completely fabbed center console pieces with multiple gauges, and i believe one on the steering wheel column. i have thought about pulling my single cup holder, and putting it there. i dunno...

so just interested in what you guys have done. show what ya got!

awesome looking setup!! quick question. if the car is tuned to 1.2 bar on 93 oct fuel and race fuel is just to difficult to aquire would a boost controller be a waste?

The car runs 1.4 bar on 93 octane, I ran the EBC so if the Aquamist unit fails it turns off the EBC and runs on waste gate pressure only. I do not have to worry about blowing the engine if I stop injecting Meth. I don't see why you would need an EBC for a 1.2 Bar 93 tune.

Jonty, where did you get the surround for your stereo? I'm thinking of getting aftermarket head unit with nav. Any recommendations on head unit? Thanks.

I tried to do the wastegate only 1.2bar thing, but slight changes in weather would require getting under car and adjusting them.

Put in the greddy and didn't have to mess with it. Well spent $ in my opinion.

I have my Greddy Profec B mounted in the "batwing," right between the seat heater buttons. It's a pretty good fit.
