I've got a Speedtech exhaust and a Softronic tune all self installed. Nice little DIY projects. Haven't dyno it yet but went from holding .9 bar to 1.2 bar on Cali 91 craptane.
Thanks guys! looks like 911tuning is the way to go. Only other questions i have are is there any risk of damaging anything if i do the ecu first then exhaust after lets say a month or 2? or vice versa? and it seems as though changing the dv's is a must which is no big deal. And whats the verdict on after market drop in air filters like BMC or K&N? some say stock is better and some say the others are as long as you clean the oil off of them
Get a BMc and and enjoy. Clean It once a year.
Keep it simple.
If someone will be doing your DVs make sure they know what they are doing. Oftentimes vacuum and it boost leaks are created during install an then the everyone is pointing fingers at the Ecu.

how hard is it to to the DV's yourself? if its nothing major i would do it on my own just kinda wondering what i should be careful of and look out for. As far as i know it can be done from the top right?
if so then you can do it yourself and pressure test at end..
yes it can be done on your own...
