Anyone put the clear bra stuff on their cars in so cal? I was wondering what the cost is?

I was thinking of mirrors/front bumper and part of the hood? Suggestions welcome.

Also what about 6-7 years later. Espcially with some cars fading (that I see around), will the protected area under the clear bra, not fade, and the other paint fade?

Would appreciate some help.

If any local Los Angeles Installers you know of, would appreciate a referral.

i didnt do it to the mini..and it got chipped..substantially.

picked up a msm (mazdaspeed miata over the weekend)...strictly for auto cross.

so for that one.

lafun2, I got all 3 of my cars done by Sam at Premier Mobile. They do great work. They recently worked on my GT3 and my friend's 360 during their so cal tour. You literally have to get about 2 to 3 inches to even notice that the bra is there. I had them do a custom work that covered the entire fender and hood areas. what do you mean so cal tour? Are they from a different area?

 

Yeah...they are actually from nor cal. They travel to so cal every 4 to 6 weeks. I'm actually getting my wife's elise done the next time they come back. I can't say enough about their friendly service and quality work.

if you were on this coast, I could help you.
Should be no problem with fading or anything. The ones you see faded are the gen. Things have come a long way since then. Congrats on the Mazda.

 

I wasn't sure about getting it either, but then a good point was made to me: Porsche puts a thicker clear bra on the rear fenders from the factory. They wouldn't put it there if it was going to fade. I got it done and I am very happy w/it.
