Just figured that out myself... turning LD off and then adjusting bass back up sounds much better than with LD on at -7

For some reason, I don't have the "Loudness" function when I push on the Sound button on my CDR-23. Does anyone have an explanation for the lack of the "Loudness" function?

Thanks.
Mike

Geez here I am again lol I'll talk about radios again!
If I'm not mistaken, the "most" system or whatever the on analog post 02? Is called does not have a switchable "loudness" feature as did the 01/02 that were analog.
My 02 car sounded MUCH better than the 03. MOST is crap.

Thanks for the response.

The Porsche dealer that sold me the car must have given me the user's manual for the incorrect model year. I'll check the cover of the manual for the MY.

.. Although its also.possible the manual wasn't updated and post 02 cars show the CDR 23 as still having the switchable feature?! Pretty sure I'm right. Will check mine again now to make sure I don't suddenly have "loudness"! Lol but this is how I remember the explanation.
