Are you going to drill your tranny yourself to bolt on the slave? Or have it professionally done? The forces on these bolts are insane.

Given the risk of making a mess out of the tranny/threads I found the CNC bracket to be a really safe and headache free solution, plus I could use the std fork which makes the installation procedure rather easy when you can manouver the a little by hand through the passenger side inspection hole, to fit the axle. This can not be done from driver side, so you are entirely left to align the fork axle by taping the fork exactly right on the pressure plate, which is a big gamble. For the few $$ of saving to skip the CNC bracket it might quickly be gone in time wasted on upcoming tranny/clutch work.

However I do see a 1lb weight saving potential.

I'll be doing the drilling and threads myself. I have plenty of experiance tapping holes in aluminum. I don't think it'll be a problem for me.

Best price on the clutch fork i found. This is the latest part number.

part number: 99711608690
