Anyone know this Black 996T

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

curious if any members on here or around the MD area have test driven/ seen this car in person? i dont want to waste my time driving up from nyc - md to only find out this car has some sort of history

basically im on the hunt for a 02-05 White or Black Turbo S/ X50, black interior, 6 speed, preferably 1-2 owners most, under 40K miles, of course clean title/no accidents, i will be trading in my current daily + financing + looking for an extended warranty. It will be my daily and occasionally hers, i live 10 miles from work and the wifey has no clue i been searching for past 4 months

It is modified with a GT2 front bumper. The exhaust has factory tips, but looks pushed out further than stock or they are factory look alikes. I see nothing in the add that states it is an X-50, so it does not meet your criteria. Skip it and move on.

Want mine? Though it isn't a X50 or a 2002+ and has 45K miles, but it is much faster than a x50 and has more options than that car you posted

I have been burned before by extended warranty. And it won't matter if you plan to MOD down the road. Just FYI. How much is extended warranty on this car? Maybe $4k+?

i believe an extended warranty is well worth its weight in gold, especially with german vechicles.. my current daily B7 S4 i spent the extra couple grand and in 1 shot i got my money's worth, 2nd gear syncro started popping out of gear and drove it around for another few months then power steering pump starts humming, dropped it off to Audi, several weeks later brand new rebuilt transmission + power steering pump + all the little miscellaneous parts/labor/everything for a total of $5,500.

you could bet i was smiling my *** off when the clerks they told how much everything started adding up and how my warranty covered everything, didnt spend a dime

For everyone that has been thankful for extended warranty there are 100 that wasted their money.
You are betting $2000+ that something that the warranty covers will break.

Comes down to asking yourself if you are a gambling man. I am, but still don't bet on the extended warranty for anything.
