My good friend Jason, he def had a rough day. I was ahead of you guys in the white R8 (shotgun) didnt bring my yellow turbo out that day. You guys looked neck and neck for a little bit.

Yea I got him pretty good, we ran 3x and the 1st 2x we both had trouble leaving at the same time, the 3rd run was a good one, and he acknowledged my win by coming out of his car on the expressway clapping lol.... I just met him that that day and he seemed like a cool guy, I really felt bad when people told me what happened, hope everything is ok with him.

I definitely wanted a piece of that white R8, he didn't seem like he was going to run the car though, i think i got next to you guys a few times. Next time you see me say whats up, I would also love to see that yellow turbo, you have some nice mods on it.

That said what turbos are you running? My car runs 1.3 all day long with Tial turbos and 91 pump with 60lb injectors. It was in the high 50s today on my way home and the car was FAST as hell. No traction on 2nd at all. Amazing how much faster the car in lower temps!!

 

We actually have the same exhaust, the cats hold up pretty good i guess its been more then one tank.

K24 factory turbos, and yes the car is fast as hell in this weather.

 

He is safe, at the end of the day its the only thing that matters. The r8 is totally stock, wouldn't even be a challenge. Plus its the e-gear car, and we were just enjoying watching everyone else run. Yellow turbo is in the garage for the winter, traction is my biggest enemy now, even moreso with r888s. But I'd love to do a run or two, should be significantly faster than that LS powered RX7.

 

That's good, if you decide to take the turbo out on a decent day let me know im always around. My cars out all winter, so far the R888s have been fine once they are warmed up. It hasn't really been super cold yet.
