Does anybody know what are the steps required to import a 996TT from another country to the US?

If Not DOT Spec..

can be extremely expensive for conversion cost. Don't know why you'd want the hassle considering the number of good, used 996s available on the market.

Given the availability of them here in all forms -- modded and stock, I would doubt it's worth the hassle -- unless, of course, it's your car or someone's that you already know. Please don't say the car is from Nigeria .

soloracer996TT is infamous around these parts
Probably one of those scams that lists a car for almost no money but the owner had to leave suddenly and needs you to pay for shipping right away. Or something similar. It's amazing to me how many people fall for this as if they somehow found the deal of the century by simply searching the autotrader.

Now if the OP is in Canada and is looking to import from the US I can relate as I brought my car in from there. The selection south of the border is much better than here.
