Just been told about an '01 GT2 which is being broken for parts
The car is completely stock

What d'ya think, is there anything worth picking up?

 

buy the motor and trans..

 

Wing, clutch system, turbos, interior bits if carbon, front bumper

 

Amazing! - I was thinking about wheels, carpets mats, and brake fluid caps for GT2 conversion

 

rear leather panels - so that when you delete your rear seat belts there is not a open space for where the old seat belts used to slide through!

these are very expensive from the dealer to replace upwards of 4k i am told!

my old car happened to have them installed

 

I wouldn't bother with the engine...basically same as an x-50 engine. Tranny, on the other hand, is something I'd be interested in, with the upgraded interneals, etc.... Wheels are nice, especially if they are the multi-spoke design (very rare). Front bumper and front wheels uprights would be nice too. Actually, the entire suspension system would be cool!

 

Is the rear suspension different, or just the front?

Also - As I'm planning on the GT2 clutch conversion, is it an option to get the master cylinder and assist spring, or are they a ***** to remove?

 

I will take the 6 piston front calipers, thank you!

roof panel and head liner to delete the sunroof. rear suspension is the same but shocks are different. motor is same as turbo, but turbos are k24s (same as X50) tranny is good, get the hoses for the trans cooler too.

 

abs unit too! if you want to dump the psm.

Lower suspension control arms + suspension, front uprights.
Turbos and intercoolers.

Front bumper + all ducts (ducts are mega expensive).
Rear wing.

Tranny.
Engine if you can afford it and price is decent, always a market for them.

GT2 master and cylinder not worth it, they are "cheap" to buy.
