Yes, this is the must attend car event of the year. It is sold out, but I think I can get my friend Markus to open up a few spots for Porsche owners if they are interested.

I see from the schedule the run goes to San Diego on the 7th. Anyone know what time they're leaving LA? Wouldn't mind jumping on them as they pass through San Onfre. Nothing better to do than run down some other cars..............................

Player's Run info

By the way, if anyone wants to attend the Monday night party at Skybar in LA, let me know and I will get you on the list.

This year's line up is going to be incredible.

I'm sorry but the route is retarded, basically back tracking to Vegas makes no sense.

Yeah same here I think they need to make more entertaining routes. Something like LA to the Florida keys or something, it would be cool if they could leave the country to Mexico, or NY to Miami to Cancun via Ferry, but I don't know about security issues that can come up with a route like that.

The whole point of this year's run was to limit the actual driving to about 5 hours per day and focus more on the social events such as track days, helicopeter rides, parties, etc.

Personally, I think that makes it a good alternative to a reckless event like Gumball where most of the event is pulling crazy stunts on public highways.

That makes allot of sense, I didn't really research the site (my bad), the route just seemed odd, thanks for clearing up the matter, I certainly trust your judgment.

Why does it say free event when there is an entry fee?

Also, is it possible to check out the party without doing the route? I guess it's a private party. I'd be interested in checking out the rides and party in SF.

Ahh I see, I think that also makes alot of sense, but then it kind of takes the fun out of it without top speed runs in the desert in Super cars, like the previous years.
