This thread is giving me second thoughts about getting a GT2 decklid/wing.

Anyone got an AERO wing in Artic Silver?

Love the aero lip, hate the aero wing. IMO Strosek knocked it out of the park with their rear wing.

Chinese aero knockoff lips are like $160 now... great quality and flexible as well. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=...=p5197.c0.m627

I had a and loved a very tough RotTec carbon lip until I borked it on a parking block...

You can see by my avatar that I have the aero package. I got it for the same reason that you are touting. My wing was going up, but was showing the error.
I didn't want a GT2 or other aftermarket wing. I found my wing on ebay from LA Dismantlers. It was used and in good condition. It has solved the rear wing issues.

Thank you. I'm seriously considering the Rottec aero lip but am a bit concerned about destroying it since I'm pretty low right now. I might first try the cheap versions you posted just to see how much it scrapes before spending 6 times more on the Rottec one

On the spoiler damage issue - I have had my car since 2002 and put over 115,000 miles on it without ever breaking my lip, until I had a cooling fitting leak and the car carrier person cracked it loading the car. They bought me a new one.

The secret is to always approach transitions at a sideways angle at slow speed. If you follow this rule, your spoiler will last a long time. Very occasionally, I may find an entrance / exit transition that is too severe. When I see one, I avoid it, even if I have to back up and find an alternative entrance or park outside of the area.
