I like this thought . . .

quote MY996TT
Agreed with Todd, we will lose big bucks when we sell our mod'd cars. I told my wife that I'd rather change my car to an inoperative status, cover her in the garage, stop the insurance and fees; than losing the money. Maybe when my grand-son to be uncovers the car when I hit the dirt, he'll have a classic rare car.

When did you get your 996tt ? Mileage and how many smiles in between ?

Got my car 4+ years ago when she had 7800 miles. She is not my DD but I do drive the car much on the weekends; she is approaching 30,000. Smiles??? my last one was this morning when I got out of the garage by just looking at her.

^ i dont know about business being slow everywhere. i wish it were.
the prices of r8's and 997s havent changed much in the past year. in fact, it seems to me that r8 prices have actually gone up.

my friend bought a 3k mile r8 in august 2010 for 90k. i'de be lucky to get one with 20k miles for 80 grand.
