My gratitude goes out to the following people whom I couldn't have completed this project without. I am also including their contact information for anyone that is interested in speaking with them. Tuner: Protomotive- Todd Knighton (870-420-3891)-this guy knows these cars inside out, if your using another tuner your using the second best IMO. Engine Builder-BBI Turbo Joe(917-238-2050) Also a tuner and engine builder in SF Valley, he installed my methanol kit. Class act guy and knows his ABC's when it comes to cars. I would recommend him to all you guys out here in Los Angeles County. If your looking for a installer of all components and engine work. Last but not least the man himself Mr. Turbo MIKE... Thank you for all the support and informative information you gave me. Really appreciate you helping me clean up other (person's) mess and getting my car to run 100%. You have been a great inspiration and your products and support are like no other. I highly recommend IPD for their y-pip, intake plenum, throttle body, blankets for both turbos and headers for anyone looking to make power. IPD phone number 714-842-5000 Orbell O. |
Great Post Orbelo!!
Car looks really strong!! You should send me a 60-130. I think turbo Mike has a PBox.. You are working with a great team! Mike knows what he is talking about and is very willing to help... |
Nice Orbel. You really put some time and effort into it. Glad to see the end result
Enjoy safely! |
thanks Mike, I will try to do some 60-130, I doubt I hit numbers close to yours. Car is much heavier. Also, we broke tires on the dyno 5 separate times. I need some R compounds to hold this ***** down even at 20PSI I can't hook my PS2's in 2nd gear.
|
Good power man.. But why would you not tell us which turbos you are using?
|
sorry man so much to list. But its the Alpha28's, bad ass turbos

Awesome, especially w/ CA craptain....of course the meth helps!
|
Hi,Congrats, good numbers....You are right Todd/Protomotive being #1 in tuning....Exhaust looks great..Any runs just on pump gas,,that sucks if all you can get by you is 91 octane....Enjoy.....:)
|
this car is fast.. we were running together until 145.mph, and i kid you not, once orbell hit 146mph he was gone. like my car stopped. he had to be going 170 in a split second.. of course this was all done on a privet closed course.. ;) see you tomorrow.. i will see if i can make time to put 100 octane so i can beat you!!! LOL ...
