From the traffic light!!!!

I just purchased a '03 TT. If I am challenged from a traffic light do I:
1. Roll it then nail it in 1st?
2. Roll it, short shift 1st, then nail it?
3. Build Revs then nail it running 1st to red?

I want to represent the board to the best of my ability.

1.roll it
2.floor it
then...................................
3.trade it in for a Corvette or Viper

I have been challanged many times by everything from Civics to Vipers and never seen a reason to take anybody on. It's a "no win situation" Either I beat them, and I was "supposed to" or lose (bad launch or missed shift) to a lesser car and face ridicule.

I have nothing to prove to anybody. I track my car and work out all my aggression on the track.

I drove a 99 C2 for many years. I never got challenged as much. With the TT I get challenged almost every time I drive the car. Is there some pschological difference between the two cars [99 C2 and TT] as far as other drivers are concerned?
