Need advise: turbo & headers blankets

Pro's and Con's for use of turbo & headers blanket! Are they worth it?

Have seen the results of test just concerned about damage to turbos and headers! Specially of long distance hard drives!

Honestly these are new so might want to wait a year or two plus I am sure it'll depend on climates, locations, turbos and etc. BTW car in avatar looks great.

The theory is sound; it should yield efficiency improvements.

Alternatively, you could have your headers and turbo hotsides coated by a reputable group like Swain... but that's not reversible.

Anything that keeps heat in the manifold and turbine housing is good, period. Heat is spool...

My headers and exhaust are all ceramic coated already by BBI and my turbo's are GT 30/76's. I've seen they'd no graphs but just worried it will dramatically shorten the life of the turbo's and headers! I'm running HRE competition series 20. Very light only 19.4 lbs and 21.8 lbs. visit my garage have all the specs of cars !! Thanks !

There is like 4 people testing them including Mike from IPD, who's had it for some 6 months. I think it's a great idea and I just sent them a message about pricing. Don't over think it, just do it
