Will a OZ Alleggerita HLT 11 inch rear for a GT3 fit a 996TT w/spacers?

Need 18 X 11 wheels for the rear and was wondering if these would work. The OZ’s for the TT has either 10 or 12 inch rears.

I tried searching but could not find anything.

Sent a PM to Damon at Tirerack, but no response as of yet.

TIA

What's the offset?

Why not get a 12" rear?

If I remember correctly OZ only makes the Alleggerita in TT offsets in a 10" and a 12" rear wheel. I don't think they make it for the TT in an 11". I would definitely get the 12" rears. The only reason to get the 10" are to run snow tires, and i doubt you'll be doing that in Socal. A 40 offset comes to mind for the 12" rears. I think the 10", even though it's a supposed to be a TT offset may benefit from a spacer due to the wheel being an inch less wide. If you run a 315/30/18 in the back you might need to adjust your front slightly to a 235 or 245 to keep everything in line. I'm sure Damon will get back to you with your options.

There's a thread floating around with some black 12" Alleggerita's on a black TT. If you search for Alleggerita it's probably easy to find. I'm contemplating getting a set with the 10" rears myself to use as a winter wheels. I like OZ wheels for the money.

The offset and back spacing are different so I am not sure if a spacer would even work.

I like to have the option of running 295 or 315 rears using an 11". The 12" would have to use 315 or larger, too wide for a 295 tire according to the tire specs.

I like the OZs too. If the 11" for the GT3 work, I will put the 10" rears up for sale that I currently have.

I have Forgestar F14's in GT3 offset with a 19mm spacer and it looks awesome. Of course I run -2.6 degrees of camber. I think if your tires stand up taller a 14mm would do.

But to answer your questions YES!

I got one definite yes. This is looking good.

I did some calculations and came up with a 23mm spacer being required. This is taking the backspacing and offset into consideration GT3 vs TT.

Im also looking to get OZ Alleggerita in 18x12 in rear. Has 51mm offset. It should fit about the same with OEM with 45mm offset....right? Going to install 315s but was wondering if I wanted to go back to 295's would the 12's be too wide?

Yes, way too wide.

When you run the tires narrow like that it exposes the lip of the wheel which is usually protected from impact by the tire. The result is your wheels will crack if you hit a pothole because they can easily make contact with the road surface.

The ideal size for these wheels will be 18x12 with a +45 offset.

If you look on tirerack, these will be for the 996 GT2. They won't show up if you search 996 turbo.

I had these wheels with the +51 offset in the rear and added a 7mm spacer to bring the offset to +44 which looked great IMO.

Here's a thread with some pics I posted:

Go at least 315's. Even with the Falken 315's I was running, the tires looked a little stretched on the 18x12 wheels.
