Thanks for the info-time to buy

I've been lurking and reading for a while and this is my 2nd time(almost bought in 2007) in the market. Finally completed my bank stuff, got my loan approval done and ready to go!

I'm in Socal, so I have a lot of inventory to check out but I'm def going to be patient. I know every deal is different but how soft are most dealers on these? I found a combo I like, decent miles (54k), 2 owner and had full motor replaced due to botched repair... all receipts etc(they spent over $30k replacing the motor) It's at a dealer and they are asking $44k. I'm hoping to get it down to $38/39, is that wishful thinking.

First thing first though, I'll get a PPI done at GMG, they are 10 miles from the shop so figure they can point me in the right direction.

Again, thanks for all your insightful posts and as soon as I find 'the one' I'll have photos etc up.
