tire decision
Just an xref. If you are running wider tires on slightly narrower wheels, you are going to get another size factor due to a minor squeezing of the tire [probably- maybe= perhaps- who knows?? hahaa]
With some of these stiff tread blocks and sidewalls, no two tire brand/types will act quite the same. Mainly, be aware that you may have some differences. You also may want to experiment a bit with tire pressures.
One last thing- simply mounting up a front/rear and placing them next to each other gives you a pretty fair idea of how the OD is going to match. I almost never see people do this [but I don't get out that much anymore, either.]

I take a cloth tape measure and go around the tire diameter on the tread ,get the reading and then divide it by 3.14[pie] to get the true diameter...
R888s
I am on my third set of 235/315s and like them alot. Tire pressure really matters though. I run them 36/40 HOT, which seems to work pretty well. Any higher and they get a little greasy on the track.
One negative is that they are noisy. I occasionally run them on the street and they whine alot above 50 mph.
