Ditto. You've got the picture, but wanted to amplify...

I have 997 coilpacks on the way already and I believe I might go ahead and order an exhaust while I am at it.

When I ordered my coils there wasn't even the option to buy a "996" part number.

Lulz. Use a feeler gauge type of gap tool not one of those ramp style ones...and check it down to a C**T hair.

Hey guys,

I was going to do the plugs and the 30K major soon as well. The list is check this and that and then change plugs and oil, etc. I can do that! Worked on race cars and earlier P-cars.

What plugs do you recommend on a 2002 with flash and Tubi Style exhaust. I would love to have brand and part # if possible. Also, 997 coilpacks, any part number on that?

997 coilpacks - 99760210400

That number might be site specific though.

I just did mine. 1st time took me 3 hours, but all I removed was my aftermarket exhaust. I did scrape my wrists up a bit though reaching over the DS intercooler piping. A 3" extension with a u-joint and another long extension helps get the plugs out, and can get a torqe wrench on it. I had to use an L-shaped allen wrench to remove two DS coil packs. Not nearly as hard as I was expecting. Just jacked up the rear. My shop wanted $550. Ha!
